Motorola Droid 4, the Android smartphone with a sliding keyboard was officially announced, and it was expected to be launched in Dec 2011. According to an unconfirmed report, the Motorola Droid 4 will hit verizon wireless store shelves on Feb. 9.

Also, it is rumored that the device will be priced for $200 with a two-year contract.

Motorola Droid 4 Preview:

The Motorola Droid 4 is going to debut with Android OS 2.3.5 (Gingerbread) running on a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. As to memory, the device will have 1GB of RAM and 16GB of on-board memory. A microSD slot will allow customers to add more storage.

Also on the list of features will be an 8MP rear-facing camera with 1080p HD video capture plus a second front-facing HD camera.

According to BGR report, leaked documents from bestbuy.com finally confirmed the price and release date of the HTC ThunderBolt – the first 4G smartphone from Verizon wireless.

A recent Best Buy document shows that HTC ThunderBolt is delayed and will release without Skype.

HTC ThunderBolt is a 4G LTE Android 2.2 smartphone with HTC Sense. It features 4.3-inch touchscreen, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, Skype video calling, mobile hotspots, GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Other features include a built-in kickstand, Dolby/SRS surround sound, and DLNA support.
