Motorola Photon 4G is a hot phone which is a 4G cell phone available from Sprint starting July 31st, its price is $199, a two-year agreement is included.
For people who want a great 4G cell phone from Sprint, we think this Photon 4G is a great choice. If you are not familiar with it, read the review roundup we made for you to learn it well~
Engadget: “With its stunning display, impressive battery life and solid performance, the Photon 4G comes very close to dethroning Samsung’s mighty Galaxy S II as king of the Android hill. This is simultaneously Motorola’s and Sprint’s best handset ever — it takes everything we praised about the Droid X2, adds WiMAX support, a global GSM / HSPA radio and WebTop capability, then wraps it up in a much sleeker package. All that’s missing now is a laptop dock and a better camera — one with a proper two-stage shutter key and 1080p video recording with continuous autofocus.”
BGR: “The Motorola PHOTON 4G is Motorola’s first real 4G handset, and it’s a winner. It easily trumps Sprint’s other flagship device for the summer, the HTC EVO 3D. From the phone’s styling and feel, to speed and functionality, the PHOTON 4G is one of my favorite Android devices in a long time, and easily my favorite smartphone that Sprint currently offers. It combines next-generation specifications into a reasonably slim and full package, and offers business customers and frequent travelers the ability to roam internationally — something not found on many 4G devices currently.”
Slashgear: “For what you pay for this is an extremely powerful and versatile phone. You can do a lot more than just text and play Angry Birds with this. You can browse the web and watch movies on your 56″ HDTV, use it for an alarm clock with that fancy kickstand and more. With a slightly unique design it will stand out in the crowd and you’ll love showing it off. Once you set up the HD Dock and get everything dialed in everything works pretty great, and there is no shortage of geek appeal.”
CNET: “The Motorola Photon 4G earns its spot in Sprint’s high-end Android phone lineup with a blazing fast dual-core 1GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 processor, dual-mode GSM/CDMA chipset, and impressive 4G speeds. We’re also fans of the flip-out kickstand, and the Webtop dock functionality is a fascinating, if a bit expensive, add-on. Business users will love its enterprise-level security, and multimedia hounds will appreciate the HDMI port, DLNA support, HD video capture and playback, and custom music player. The Photon’s design is a little on the bulky and plain side, but it more than makes up for it with a beautiful 4.3-inch qHD display.”
PCworld: “Of all the Motorola phones we’ve seen this year, the Photon is definitely the best of the pack. The design is one-of-a-kind, and the Tegra 2 processor paired with Sprint’s 4G network is hard to beat. But the Photon 4G suffers from some issues we’ve seen across multiple Motorola devices, such as the bluish tint to the display and the uneven camera.”
Phonearena: “The Motorola Photon 4G makes a very strong case for being the best phone in Sprint’s lineup. It certainly has the horsepower with the Tegra 2 dual core processer, 16GB of memory and brilliant qHD display. The 8-megapixel camera with 720p recording performed well enough to double as a point and shoot for most people. The battery life and call quality was well above average, and overall the build quality and design is very well done.”
Hope all of these reviews from different experts tell you this great Motorola Photon 4G well~
