All that’s missing now is a laptop dock and a better camera — one with a proper two-stage shutter key and 1080p video recording with continuous autofocus.”

Once you set up the HD Dock and get everything dialed in everything works pretty great, and there is no shortage of geek appeal.”

We’re also fans of the flip-out kickstand, and the Webtop dock functionality is a fascinating, if a bit expensive, add-on. Business users will love its enterprise-level security, and multimedia hounds will appreciate the HDMI port, DLNA support, HD video capture and playback, and custom music player. The Photon’s design is a little on the bulky and plain side, but it more than makes up for it with a beautiful 4.3-inch qHD display.”
